FAQs
What makes Bariay cigars unique?
Bariay cigars are handcrafted using old-world Cuban techniques, refined through decades of quiet mastery. We're the only brand using a third fermentation process—bringing out deeper complexity without harshness. Each cigar is chemical-free, smooth to the nub, and a tribute to timeless tradition.
What is third fermentation and why does it matter?
Third fermentation is a rare, extended aging step that allows tobacco to mellow even further. It draws out nuanced flavors, reduces bitterness, and gives Bariay cigars their signature richness. It’s slow, intentional, and worth every minute.
How should I store Bariay cigars?
To keep your cigars at peak condition, store them in a humidor at 65–70% humidity and around 65–70°F. This maintains the flavor, aroma, and burn consistency that define the Bariay experience.
Do Bariay cigars contain chemicals or additives?
Never. Bariay cigars are made without chemical preservatives, artificial flavors, or synthetic enhancements. What you taste is honest tobacco, aged and blended the right way.
Where can I buy Bariay cigars?
You can order directly from our affiliate online partner, or find them in select premium cigar retailers across Texas and beyond. The retailer list is growing—see all locations here.
Are Bariay cigars authentic Cuban style?
Yes—Bariay follows traditional Cuban methods passed down through generations. While we don’t claim Cuban origin, tobaccos are sourced from Nicaragua’s finest regions and blended by master cigar-maker César Ramírez, who trained in the old ways.
